Paradise Taveuni Resort

Paradise Taveuni is a secluded resort on the southern end of Taveuni Island, Fiji, located 40 kilometers and a scenic 60 minute drive from the Matei Airport.

Paradise Taveuni Resort is perfectly positioned on 5 acres of oceanfront land with deep-water frontage and an extinct volcano behind (900 metres high) as a dramatic background. The resort features a panoramic oceanfront setting and is surrounded by lush tropical gardens.

The resort's maximum capacity is 20 guests, ensuring visitors enjoy a secluded and personalised stay in Paradise. The Resort caters to couples, single travellers, families and groups.

 

Paradise Taveuni was rebuilt in 2006/2007 and has 24 hour generator power and a steady Fiji water source from a community supply. The Fiji water is fresh and great tasting. No need for bottled water!

The 10 new bures (10 total at the resort) are each outfitted with modern interiors and an outdoor shower in a private garden.

All bures were hand built in 2006/07 with local coconut and rain tree woods.

 

Glass doors open to a spacious deck containing a daybed.

Inside is a generous king bed, spacious lounge room and modern bathroom.

All bures at Paradise Taveuni include the essential Fiji outdoor shower within a private garden.

 

Each bure at Paradise Taveuni is topped with a traditional thatched roof built by the men of the nearby Vuna Village.

Thatched roofs leave the bures naturally cool as the traditional method of thatching ensures protection from rain, sun & heat.
