Here in the paradise that has captivated so many, guests will celebrate the Merry Motu Miti package – a perfect blend of land and sea. Spend six nights aboard one of the most luxurious yachts plying the Pacific today, and three nights at the resplendent Bora Bora Lagoon Resort.

Each day will feature memory-making activities, including a showing of classical Christmas films under the stars on a deserted island (motu) and massages in a tree top spa. Holiday mornings feature champagne breakfast amidst the tranquil waters of a Tahitian lagoon; sparkling water in the glass, and beyond it.

 

Merry Motu Miti includes three gourmet meals daily, special excursions, airport transfers and numerous extras. .

The Merry Motu Miti (island and sea) package provides the quintessential Tahitian experience aboard a luxury yacht and on island paradise.

Within an eight-hour flight from Los Angeles, the package introduces guests to four of the most spectacular islands in French Polynesia: Bora Bora (the Romantic Island), Taha’ (the Sacred Island), Huahine (the Garden of Eden) and Raiatea (the Vanilla Island).

 

The yacht, with only 30 sumptuous guest cabins, provides guests an opportunity to embrace the local culture with excursions that include a visit to a marae (Polynesian temple), a kayak down the only navigable river in the Tahitian Islands and motu movies –screening a classic black and white film at an open air beach theatre set exclusively for the guests of the Motu Miti package. 

 

Bora Bora Lagoon Resort offers five different styles of accommodation.

Bora Bora Lagoon Resort & Spa, located on Motu Toopua in the middle of the Bora Bora Lagoon, offers 79 thatched roof bungalows and numerous special extras, including star gazing from the panorama, lessons in the traditional Polynesian arts and daily spa treatments at Maru, the resorts new tree top spa.

 

Overwater End of Pontoon Bungalows

These bungalows are arranged in three separate villages and oriented to views and sunlight with privacy as a key consideration. 

Each village is near the beach, swimming areas and communal pavilion.

There are six Overwater End of Pontoon Bungalows at Bora Bora Lagoon Resort located at the end of the connecting teak walkways offering unobstructed views of Mt. Otemanu and the alluring blue lagoon.

Each bungalow is furnished with a king bed and a private deck from where steps lead directly into the lagoon.

The resort has 44 Overwater Bungalows lined along three walkways arrayed from the beach over the lagoon.

Each bungalow is furnished with a king or two twin beds and a private deck from where steps lead directly into the lagoon. 

The beautiful underwater sea life can be admired or fed through the illuminated glass-topped coffee table.

 

All rooms at Bora Bora Lagoon Resort feature:

Each bungalow is built in the traditional Polynesian style with thatched roofs made from pandanus leaves.

Inside, high-polished Yucca wood floors, Kaori wood walls, Kohu wood floor-to-ceiling louvers and timber blinds, authentic local-style furnishings, a two-meter couch in the living room.

Air conditioning, a bathroom with bathtub, separate shower and double basins, hairdryer, bathrobes, minibar, private safe, television, DVD player, tea & coffee making facilities, ceiling fan, direct dial telephone and iron & ironing board.

 

The only treetop SPA in French Polynesia

Located on a small motu in the middle of the most beautiful lagoon in the world, Maru Spa is the most authentic Polynesian Spa in the Pacific Ocean. 

It overlooks the lagoon and faces Mount Pahia.  High up in the branches of two giant Banyan trees, the wooden cabins are almost hidden making it the ultimate place to experience wonderful treatments, listening to the soft breeze of the wind in the leaves.

Maru Spa's Polynesian influence echoes in the signature treatments available.  Locals have kept the knowledge of using plants, flowers and specific fruits such as the Moni for medicinal or cosmetic purposes, but the Tahitian recipes that use the Monoi oil are known the world over for their benefits on hair and skin. 

The Monoi oil itself is the basis of Maru Spa's signature treatments.  "Monoi" comes from the Maohi for sacred oil and results in the maceration of coconut, plants and fresh Tiare flowers.
